The world of One Piece is filled with all kinds of colorful colors, especially the famous Straw Hat crew, who have won over and inspired fans the world over. As with every fandom, fans have been inspired to create stories, artwork, and even their own characters, including possible children of the franchise's characters.
Some of them were imagined to be the children of two canon characters that fans had hoped would end up together by the end of the story. Others often are the children of one canon character and another original character that the fan has made up. And everything else comes from the artist's imagination. Some can be just like their parents, but other OC babies have their own lives to live. And some are a little bit of both.
Let's take a look at some of these characters and the talented artists who created them. While a lot of these characters mostly come from an imagined future in the One Piece world, there are bound to be spoilers attached to their creation.
10 Hiroko And Ai
In this image from XxAyuChuxX, we see a baby named Ai. Baby Ai is the child of Dracule "Hawk Eyes" Mihawk and an original character named Hiroko, seen holding Ai above. While Ai's father isn't a member of the Straw Hat crew and is actually something of a secondary antagonist, one never knows what kind of alliances children make when they get older, so it's entirely possible Ai could grow up to have friendly terms with the Straw Hat crew.
9 Merry Christmas
In the One Piece universe, Luffy has an adopted older brother, who has proved popular with the fanbase: Portgas D. Ace. In this image from MoguraSama, we see him with a possible family. Here, he is seen with a wife, an original character named Sayo, with two infant children, Sam and Hana. Altogether, the happy family is wishing onlookers some holiday cheer with a "Merry Christmas." In the full picture, Ace can be seen with a teddy bear in his pocket, probably a present for the two babies.
8 Iris
If Iris also looks a little bit familiar, that might also be because she was created using a child version of Nami as a base.
7 Our Marvelous Adventure
In this image from CursedSnail, we see Zoro with a possible future family: two original characters, Mega and Eri. Zoro's daughter appears to take after her mother, but has her father's famous green hair. If you look closely, the image is a photo being held by a green-haired girl, presumably a future version of the daughter, whose hair has now grown to match her mother's in length, if not in color, and the story taking place years after her parents saw their dreams come true. Eagle-eyed readers may notice that the title of the piece is also the name of the book in the photo.
6 Phoebe And Oliver
In this image from Issoman, we have a pair of children from Franky and Nico Robin. The girl is 9-year-old Phoebe and 6-year-old Oliver. Working on electronics and reading quite an impressive collection of books, both of the kids seem quite intelligent. They' make any parent proud. Both children also look like a mix-match of their parents. Oliver has his mother's hair but his father's eyes, with Phoebe being the opposite.
5 Ananas, Safran, and Cerise
4 Monkey D. Ace
In this image from TuxedoFedora, we get to see an original character, Monkey D. Ace, who is the son of Luffy and Fiamma, an original character, after Luffy has become the Pirate King. Don't let his first name fool you, he is named after Luffy's brother, but that big smile should make clear who he belongs to. He is said to be a lot like his father who he idolizes; he hasn't inherited any Devil Fruit powers and his father isn't too keen on the idea of him trying some of the fruit anytime soon.
3 Belle And Hanako In Pikachu PJs
In this drawing from XfangheartX, we see two original characters, Belle and Hanako. At first glance, you might mistake the two as a brother and sister pair, but Hankao is the child of Zoro and Nico Robin while Belle belongs to Luffy and Nami. As an homage to another famous anime, the two are sleeping in Pikachu-styled pajamas. Belle's costume is slightly more obvious thanks to having the ears and tail visible.
2 Luffy And Niece Athena
In this image from Portgas-D-Hato, we see Luffy getting a kiss from his niece, Athena, an original character, as a birthday present. While she could look like Luffy's daughter, she is the daughter of his brother, Portgas D. Ace, also known as Gol D. Ace, and another original character, Kasatori Hatomi. Not only is Athena getting a hug from her famous uncle, she is giving him a kiss on the nose.
1 Alen And Afina
In another image from Portgas-D-Hato, we see another possible child. Here, we see Athena, also known as Afina, with her brother Alen. Once again, they are the children of Portgas D. Ace and Kasatori Hatomi, making them Luffy's niece and nephew. Alen has grown up to resemble his famous uncle and, as mentioned, Athena is clearly a fan. She can be seen holding a plushie of Luffy, which can be seen in the full image. Both are intelligent, with Alen being a talented mechanic who also wants to travel the world, while his sister has a musical touch.
