One Piece: Every Member of The Franky Family, Ranked According To Likability

The Straw Hats have had dealings with plenty of organizations throughout their adventures in One Piece, and each one has been memorable in its own way. The Franky Family took a drastic turn with their relationship to the Straw Hats. In the Water 7 arc, they were antagonists and went so far as to beat up Usopp and even kidnap him.

However, as the series transitioned into the Enies Lobby arc, the Franky Family became a major ally for the Straw Hats. There were many members of the group, and not all of them were able to get much screen time. Those that did were able to be fleshed out a bit more, but there are stark differences in how well the viewers ended up liking them.

10 Kop

Kop is the most boring and least likable named character of the Franky Family. His appearance is a bit more unique than some of the background members, but his past was glossed over and left simply at him joining the family. During the Enies Lobby arc, he did not have any notable feats that let him stand out from the rest of the family. Kop ended up being a character that would have been much better if he'd just stayed in the background.

9 Schollzo

Schollzo is another named character that has found his place in the background. He also accomplished nothing of note during the Enies Lobby arc, and was only rarely seen. His one saving grace is that he has a better character design than some of the others of the Franky Family. He lacks the bulbous black armor that the others wear, so he isn't as much of an eyesore. Unfortunately, his lack of backstory and ability dooms him to be mediocre.

8 Tamagon

Tamagon has a unique body shape even for the diverse world of One Piece. This appearance makes him stand out from the rest of the Franky Family and is quite amusing. While his past and abilities are also a mystery, his interesting physique helps him stand out from the crowd.

He originally didn't even have a name, but when Eiichiro Oda was asked about his name, he dubbed him Tamagon. This is similar to tamago, which means egg in Japanese. Considering how little thought went into his name, it's obvious he was never meant to be a major character.

7 Kiev

Kiev was the first named Franky Family member that has some sort of past. He was starving in the streets until he met Franky, who took him in and gave him food and a home. This small detail already makes him more likable than some of the other members and helps him stick out from the crowd. His appearance also makes him look tough and he is by far the least goofy looking member of the Franky Family. However, he still could've just remained a background character.

6 Kairiki Destroyers

The Kairiki Destroyers are three incredibly large humans and responsible for much of the strength that the Franky Family has available. They are never explicitly named, but they are among the most prominent members. They tower over everyone except giants, and were critical in the attack on Enies Lobby. Unfortunately, their backstories weren't really explored and combined with not knowing there names meant that viewers couldn't connect very deeply with them. Their combat skills were still fairly impressive, but after attacking Usopp they were defeated quite easily by the other Straw Hats.

5 Kiwi and Mozu

Mozu and Kiwi are known as the Square Sisters for obvious reasons. They are similar to cheerleaders and follow Franky around so that they can mimic his poses and cheer him on. They are much more prominent members of the family and get a lot of screen time compared to some of the others.

Their appearances are interesting, and set them apart from everyone else. Combat wise, they are both some of the stronger members of the Franky Family. Their swordsmanship and unique appearances made them very memorable characters.

4 Sodom

Sodom is one of two King Bulls that are part of the Franky Family. Sodom was critical to the Straw Hats success at Enies Lobby, and was strong enough to briefly tackle a giant. While viewers only got Sodom's thoughts through Chopper's interpreting, he was shown to be brave and loyal. He was even willing to give himself up if it meant that the rest of the Franky Family could continue on and accomplish their goal. His past was also more in depth than many other members of the family, which helped viewers to care even more about him.

3 Gomorrah

Gomorrah is one of two King Bulls that are part of the Franky Family. Gomorrah was just as powerful as Sodom, and tackled the other giant in their assault on Enies Lobby. After Sodom was taken down by mortar fire and Gomorrah was blinded, he still summoned the strength to forge forward and allow the Straw Hats to continue on their mission to rescue Nico Robin. His self sacrifice is a big note for his character and proved how loyal he was. He also had a slightly more interesting appearance than Sodom, looking almost like a zebra.

2 Zambai

Zambai is the right hand man of the Franky Family and was the most prominent member throughout the Water 7 arc and the Enies Lobby arc. His backstory was well laid out, with him leading a gang before being beaten by Franky. He's intensely loyal and brave, not hesitating to leap into battle even against superior foes. His combat ability was also one of the best of the Franky Family, as we he was able to fight either at long distance or up close. All of these factors made him one of the most liked members of the family.

1 Franky

Franky was the leader of the Franky Family and is now a member of the Straw Hats. Out of all of the characters in the family, his character is the most explored and fleshed out. His past was emotional, and despite his hard exterior it's obvious to viewers that he has a very big heart. He's also a very unique character for One Piece, being a cyborg with fascinating abilities. Joining the Straw Hats makes him one of the main characters of the series, so it's only natural that he would be the most liked member of the Franky Family.
