Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 Release Date & Time

Episode 6 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will be released on Aug. 31 on Crunchyroll. The beloved Studio MAPPA anime concluded the first arc of its second season on Aug. 3 and will take a three-week break before returning.

Below is a list of the specific times the sixth episode is expected to arrive, depending on your time zone:

The latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen -- Episode 5, "Premature Death" -- picked up a year after the previous installment. It opened with Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri testing Gojo's improved skills. From there, it flipped the switch and focussed on Geto as he slowly devolved into the role of an antagonist. His transition into villainy began as he became disillusioned with his life as a sorcerer. This came to a head after a chance encounter with the Special Grade Sorcerer Yuki Tsukumo gave him the idea of culling all non-sorcerers on the planet.

Geto officially put these plans into motion after going on a mission, killing 112 people, and being sentenced to death. He fled the school and was discovered by Shoko, who alerted Gojo to his presence. The pair had a heated discussion outlining Geto's plans for a new world and Gojo's anger with his friend. Following this, Gojo sought out the young Megumi Fushiguro, son of the "Sorcerer Killer" Toji Fushiguro. The episode concluded after Gojo woke up in the main timeline (2018) and was met by a grown-up Megumi, Nobara Kugisaki and the series protagonist, Yuji Itadori.

Season 2 of the hit anime, based on the manga from Gege Akutami, will now take a short hiatus. The first five episodes covered the "Gojo's Past" arc, which explored the fan-favorite sorcerer's high school days. It also delved into his relationship with his friend turned enemy, Suguru Geto. The anime will switch back to focusing on Yuji and Sukuna once it returns at the end of August. It is set to adapt the "Shibuya Incident" arc, which is widely considered one of the best in the series.

The next episode -- "It's Like That" -- will be available on Aug. 31 on Crunchyroll. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and the tie-in movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 are streaming on the same service. The manga is available to read via Viz Media.
