The opening and ending track titles and artists for Spy X Family Season 2 have been unveiled.
As revealed by ComicBook.com, the opening track is called “Kurakura,” which translates to “light-headed,” a phrase that could apply to multiple main cast members. Ado, who is a famous songstress from Japan and is recently known for playing the character Uta in One Piece: Red, sings the song. The ending credits track is called “Todome no Ichigeki” and is performed by Vaundy while featuring Cory Wong. While the full tracks haven’t been released, clips of them can be heard in the Season Two trailer for Spy X Family.
Spy X Family Returns
The newest trailer for the hit anime unveiled many things that fans are both curious about and looking forward to. At the end of the first season, Loid Forger finally got his wish regarding the primary objective of “Operation Strix.” Through his “daughter” Anya, he met Donovan Desmond and put their family name in his mind, potentially setting up future interactions with him in later episodes. Agent Twilight has been tasked with getting closer to Desmond so he can help prevent a war between their two nations, and that was a big first step toward doing so.
Elsewhere, Yor Forger struggled for most of the season to try and maintain her cover as an assassin while also learning to be a good wife to Loid and a good mother to Anya. She initially agreed to “pretend” to be Loid’s wife due to the heightened scrutiny from certain people, including single women of a certain age. But as she grew into the role, she became more attached to Anya and slowly developed feelings for Loid. In the Spy X Family Season 2 trailer, we see the two on a date and the potential feelings they may have.
As for Anya, her telepathic abilities have sometimes helped her “father” and “mother” but also backfired on her more than once. However, she continues to give it her all because she truly does love her family. By the end of Season 1, she had a new “partner-in-crime”, a dog named Bond, who can see the future. The two used their combined powers to save Loid’s life, and it’s implied in the new trailer that his visions will help save people once again.
Spy X Family Season 2 will debut on October 7.
