Throughout Part 1 of Chainsaw Man, the Gun Devil is built up as the final boss Denji will have to face. Chainsaw Devil’s ability to erase other Devils from existence is also quite peculiar, conceptually tying him to a much more primal fear — death.
Chainsaw Man fans already know from the Darkness Devil arc that consuming a part of a Devil can give one some of its abilities. So, it wouldn’t be impossible for Pochita to obtain his unique powers from the enigmatic Death Devil.
8 Fake Chainsaw Man Is The Real Chainsaw Devil

7 Power’s Host Took Her Own Life
As a Blood Fiend, Power’s body originally belonged to a human whose corpse she possessed. The history of Power’s host is never revealed in the series, but fans have some compelling theories regarding how the body came to the Blood Devil’s possession.
Power takes over her host in a deserted forest, where the person is naked and alone. Many speculate that this location is Aokigahara — the infamous Japanese “suicide forest” Power’s host chose to take her own life. The cuts on the body’s wrists that Power used to manipulate her blood also point to the morbid accuracy of this theory.
6 Asa Is The Real War Devil
When Asa and Yoru, one of the series' strongest War Devils, were first introduced, many were confused about the nature of their contract — the two of them share a headspace, which hasn’t been seen in Hybrids or Fiends.
An interesting theory that stems from this unusual bond states that Yoru is just a fragment of Asa’s shattered personality, and the real War Devil was Asa all along. Little is known about Asa's history, and there is a possibility that, similarly to Denji and the death of his father, Asa has repressed a part of her psyche, which manifested as Yoru after she dies in Chapter 98.
5 Quanxi Is Much Older Than Any Other Character
While some fans celebrate the appearance of the fan-favorite Devil Hunter Quanxi in the Academy Saga, others revisit an old popular theory regarding the Crossbow Devil Hybrid in the light of the reemergence of her fellow Weapons. Despite looking like a young woman, Quanxi is regarded as the first Devil Hunter, and her known history goes way back to the time she worked with Kishibe in Public Safety.
