The Spy x Family anime series will launch a brand-new art book this year. Spy x Family Animation Art Book will arrive in December with only a week separating its Japanese and international releases.
The art book's release announcement came via Wit Studio's official website. The book will have 200 pages and contain about 300 setting materials used in the Spy x Family series. IG Port store's description of the anime series' art book reads, "Delivered in a large volume of 200 full-color pages, including a rich collection of facial expressions and costume settings for characters including Anya, prop settings such as 'Mr. Chimera' and art settings and artboards such as the Folger family and Eden School! In addition, there are fun quizzes and newly drawn illustrations that use the settings, the entire storyboard for the 2nd season's OP by Tetsuro Araki (second cour of season 1), and the ED by Takayuki Hirao, and even a thorough explanation of how to create animation. This is a must-see book for fans filled with the charm of Spy x Family."
Spy x Family Animation Art Book will have a B5 size/17.6cm x 25cm specification, and multiple versions of the book with different extras will be available. Tsutaya's version includes the free bonus newly drawn visual glitter card suit. When obtained from the Wit×Clw Anime Spy x Family Shop, the book comes with a newly drawn visual bromide frame set. Wit Store offers the free bonus Kyoji Asano-autographed mini-colored paper with revisions by the executive director version, while Animate offers the free mini-sticker version. Amazon JP and Playasia will provide international shipping for the Spy x Family art book.
About the Spy x Family Anime Series
Tatsuya Endo created the fan-favorite manga that the Spy x Family anime series adapts. The anime series follows Agent Twilight, a spy tasked with maintaining peace between the bordering nations of Westalis and Ostania. As part of his cover, Twilight adopts Anya, a young psychic girl, to infiltrate a prestigious school frequented by Ostania's Prime Minister. While undercover as Loid Forger, he also takes a wife named Yor, who secretly moonlights as an assassin.
Spy x Family is currently airing its second season on Crunchyroll. Spy x Family Season 2 is adapting Chapters 37 to 76 of the manga and continues the story from the first season's finale.
Wit Studio will release Spy x Family Animation Art Book in Japan on Dec. 8, 2023. International orders for the art book will be available within one week of the Japanese release.
