It revolves around Yuji Itadori, an athletic high schooler who ends up joining the school's occult club. After unwrapping one of Sukuna's cursed fingers, Yuji swallows it to save his new friend, Megumi Fushiguro. He subsequently becomes Sukuna's vessel, enrolling at Jujutsu High to fight cursed spirits and keep the King of Curses in check. Jujutsu Kaisen is full of powerful characters, but some are stronger than others.

Miwa also participated in the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons and helped her classmates ward off Suguru's mob of cursed spirits. Miwa doesn't have an innate cursed technique, but she's capable of activating a simple domain that spells instant damage for whoever walks inside.
24 Principal Gakuganji's Sorcery Grade Is Currently Unknown
He Uses His Body Like A Guitar Amp, Emitting Soundwaves Of Cursed Energy
Principal Gakuganji's sorcery grade is unknown, but he showed off some of his skills during the Goodwill Event when the gang needed to ward off Mahito's group. His innate technique is literally electrifying, capable of neutralizing all but the strongest opponents.
Gakuganji uses his body like a guitar amp, and every strum of his electric guitar sends soundwaves of cursed energy out into the atmosphere, swiftly getting rid of any cursed spirit in his radius. Nobody expected an electric guitar to become a cursed tool, but it just proves that anything is possible in Jujutsu Kaisen.
23 Noritoshi Kamo Has Inherited His Clan's Blood Manipulation Technique
He Stood On A Level Playing Field Against Megumi's Ten Shadows Technique
Even in the manga, not much has been seen of Noritoshi Kamo. However, it's obvious that he's extremely powerful, on par with some of the strongest characters in JJK. Kamo is a semi-grade 1 sorcerer and has inherited the Kamo clan's Blood Manipulation technique. He also blends jujutsu with his expert archery skills.
Kamo proved his strength when he stood on a level playing field against Megumi and his Ten Shadows Cursed Technique. He subsequently highlighted the sheer breadth of his combat skillset when he fought alongside Megumi and Inumaki during Hanami's attack. Fans hope to see more of Kamo in the future.
22 Mimiko Hasaba Has Killed Three Jujutsu High Managers
She Uses A Teddy Bear And A Noose To Hang Enemies To Death
Twin sisters Mimiko and Nanako Hasaba were taken under Suguru Geto's wing after he arrived in their village. The villagers, believing the twins to be responsible for a number of deaths in the village, begged Geto to kill them. However, he slaughtered the entire village and took the sisters with him.
Mimiko's innate ability revolves around strangling her foes by employing her cursed tools — a teddy bear and a noose. This technique has the same outcome as being hanged to death. Using this ability, Mimiko was able to easily kill three Jujutsu High managers, making her incredibly dangerous.
21 Nanako Hasaba Is As Dangerous As Her Sister Mimiko

Equally dangerous by comparison to her twin sister Mimiko, Nanako Hasaba uses her cell phone camera to deploy her innate technique. This technique allows her to photograph people and then manipulate the image to her own design, creating a reality that becomes what is seen in the photo.
Both Nanako and Mimiko struggle to rescue Geto from Pseudo-Geto's clutches, highlighting their deep gratitude towards the former. While it's not entirely known how she or her sister use their techniques, the pair of them are powerful on their own. Together, however, their combined abilities can be devastating.
20 Toji Fushiguro Is The Major Antagonist Of JJK's Season 2
He Doesn't Need Cursed Energy To Deliver Devastating Damage
The biggest problem when it comes to JJK Season 2's primary antagonist, Toji Fushiguro, is that he's incredibly smart. Also known as the Sorcerer Killer, Toji is a non-curse user, an assassin for hire who uses cursed energy for evil purposes. While he may have fathered one of the most talented first year students, Megumi Fushiguro, the real truth is that despite his power and intelligence, Toji couldn't hold a candle to Megumi's natural talent. Unfortunately for Toji, Gojo somehow mounts a comeback and finishes him off with a devastating attack.

Unfortunately, he has a very sickly body and Heavenly Restriction, so he must use his Puppet Manipulation to attend school as Ultimate Mechamaru.
Kokichi showed off his skills during his fight against Panda at the Goodwill Event. Despite the severe toll his cursed technique takes on his body and mind, it's clear why Kokichi is already categorized as a semi-grade 1 sorcerer so early in his training. Then again, it's very unlikely that he's going to surpass the likes of Megumi and Yuji.
18 Nobara Kugisaki Is Eponymously Known As The Girl Of Steel
She Has Defeated Some Of The Series' Most Terrifying Curses
Nobara isn't called the "Girl of Steel" for nothing. Wielding a hammer, nails, and occasionally a voodoo doll, Nobara has defeated some of the series' most terrifying curses and severely injured others. Nobara showed off just how far she's willing to go to win a fight during her battle against Eso and Kechizu.
Nobara challenged the Death Painting siblings to a deadly game of chicken after stabbing herself with a nail to drain their poison. Obviously, she's not afraid to get her hands dirty if it means she'll come out victorious in the end. Nobara is currently classified as a grade 3 sorcerer, but it's evident that she'll continue rising through the ranks and become one of the most powerful characters in JJK.
17 Panda Is Much Stronger Than Even He Fully Comprehends

Panda is not actually a panda. Panda is, however, stronger than even he fully comprehends. Wholly unique among jujutsu sorcerers, Panda is a mutated cursed corpse created and raised by Jujutsu High's principal, Masamichi Yaga. Besides being highly intelligent, Panda is incredibly strong and capable of exorcising curses through physical strength alone.
What especially sets Panda apart is his three inner cores: Panda, Gorilla, and a currently unidentified "sister" mode. In Gorilla Mode, Panda's strength and speed intensify, and he unlocks his ability to use Unblockable Drumming Beat — sending shockwaves past his opponent's defenses. Already a grade 2 sorcerer, there's no telling how powerful he'll become after fully unleashing all three of his cores.

He's Already Considered A Grade 2 Sorcerer Despite Being A First-Year
Often stealing the spotlight, Megumi certainly lives up to his family legacy. As a first-year student at Jujutsu High, he's already considered a grade 2 sorcerer whose potential has attracted the attention of the King of Curses. Descended from the notable Zenin Family, Megumi inherited his line's Ten Shadows Technique, allowing him to summon ten shikigami to fight and devour curses.
The full extent of Megumi's Ten Shadows cursed technique is yet to be explored. Even so, Megumi's enhanced physicality, tactical intellect, and advanced martial arts skills make him one of the most formidable sorcerers in the series. Further, Megumi is almost certainly going to surpass his overpowered father on all levels.

Yuji's sheer strength and martial arts expertise, combined with his cursed energy manipulation, place him on par with many of the greatest grade 1 sorcerers. He's only eaten three out of Sukuna's 20 fingers, but he's already incredibly strong. By shonen anime standards, it's highly probable that Yuji Itadori will become the strongest character in JJK.

Maki Zenin can't control cursed energy, and she can't see cursed spirits without her glasses. Regardless, she's proven herself a remarkably strong sorcerer. Maki's currently stuck with a grade 4 classification because of the power the Zenin clan holds in jujutsu society. However, everyone agrees she should at least be classified as a grade 2 sorcerer.
Maki is an impressive combatant and a master of weapons, but a polearm seems to be her main weapon of choice. Maki is skilled enough that she's able to train others — like when she trained Yuta or the first-year students. Her twin sister Mai can't even dream of reaching Maki's level, with or without cursed energy.
13 Toge Inumaki Is One Of The Most Talented Students At Jujutsu High

Some characters fall victim to Heavenly Restriction to prevent their full powers from coming out. However, in Toge Inumaki's case, his restraint is a choice. Often considered quiet and unassuming, the second-year student is one of the most naturally powerful and talented students at Jujutsu High. Toge comes from a prominent sorcerer family and inherited the Cursed Technique, Cursed Speech, from his ancestors.
Toge was born with the "Snake & Fangs" seal on his tongue and cheeks. This infuses cursed energy into everything he says, forcing everyone who hears him to obey his commands. Since his attack commands can range from the relatively harmless "Sleep," to the fairly lethal "Get Crushed," Toge limits his vocabulary to rice ball ingredients to protect everyone around him.

Kyoto third-year, Aoi Todo, is one of the strongest Jujutsu High students and ranked a grade 1 sorcerer despite being born into a non-sorcerer family.
Although Aoi Todo possesses a great amount of cursed energy, he primarily uses it to bolster his physical attacks, becoming a powerhouse on the battlefield. While the anime hasn't featured him much so far, he's already got a formidable reputation from singlehandedly defeating a special grade cursed spirit during the Kyoto Nite Line attack.

His technique is surprisingly effective, allowing Nanami to slice through opponents with his signature blunt blade.

By evoking Overtime, Nanami's energy output increases after his shift as a Jujutsu High employee ends. Fans were immediately interested in Choso after Jujutsu Kaisen's first season finale. They were intrigued by his punk rock appearance and wanted to know more about his relation to the other Death Painting Wombs, Kechizu and Eso. Jujutsu Kaisen manga readers grew to love Choso after seeing him in action. Choso's Blood Manipulation makes him the strongest Death Painting Womb thus far.
He can poison people with his blood, draining their stamina and eventually depleting their oxygen. He can also convert cursed energy into blood. Choso can also use his blood to stab and cut his opponents by hardening it and sending it in their direction. This makes her one of the most powerful jujutsu sorcerers in the world. If that's not enough, Tengen is effectively immortal, having lived for over twelve centuries.

Mahito is a special grade cursed spirit and a major thorn in the protagonists' side. He prides himself on having manifested from humanity's hatred. His Idle Transfiguration is equally overpowered and grotesque. By manipulating the physical shape of a person's soul, he can reshape a person's body, most often using it to turn people into what look like cursed spirits and dolls.
By transforming his soul, Mahito can effectively heal from life-threatening wounds, regrow his limbs, change them to suit his needs better, and complete an endless variety of physical transformations to aid him in combat. These techniques allow him to hold his own against the likes of Nanami and Yuji in a two-on-one ambush.
