As Boruto: Two Blue Vortex continues, Jūra and the Sentient God Trees have begun making moves. The latest chapter finds them attacking Konoha. Jūra wants to devour Naruto's essence, while Hidari is searching for Sarada. They are on the power level of the Ōtsutsuki. The duo dismantle the Hidden Leaf security, including Kawaki, with consummate ease.
As they prepare for the next stage, fans grow more curious about who could take these villains down. Naruto is hidden in a pocket dimension, Sasuke is comatose, and Konoha won't work with Boruto. While that seems like the numbers are bleak, there are a few warriors and fighting spirits who could get the job done.
10 Yamato Has Senju Hashirama's DNA
Yamato Could Replicate The First Hokage's Power
Yamato was a child that Orochimaru experimented on. The snake ninja injected Hashirama's DNA in Yamato, allowing him to effectively be a clone of the First Hokage. In the Boruto era, Yamato is more or less a Ranger on the outskirts.
With the God Trees attacking, he could use the Wood Release techniques that Hashirama used. These are powerful techniques that can restrain and impale villains. Seeing as Yamato has high chakra reserves and is great at setting traps for high chakra opponents, he would fit the mold. Most of all, his DNA can help stymie Bijuu chakra, which is what the God Trees are made from.

Kabuto & Orochimaru Are Genius-Level Weapons
Kabuto and Orochimaru turned their backs on Konoha during the Naruto days. They made amends and have been trying to do good since. This arc creates the organic opening to have them return as warriors.
Both can tap into their snake ninja sides again. More so, they can use their expertise to upgrade Kawaki and their own bodies. They are science experts, so Kawaki's Ōtsutsuki DNA would be the perfect power boost for a duo who love working together. They love conducting these kinds of tests on themselves as well.
8 Killer B Can Enter The Fray
Killer B Loves Konoha & Naruto
Killer B didn't succeed his older brother, A, as the Raikage in Kumogakure. However, he still has the Eight Tails, Gyūki, sealed in him. This puts him at a power level right below Naruto. With Gyūki in tandem, B is a master of Lightning and Fire Release techniques.
Plus, he has his electricity-generating sword, nodding to Marvel's Thor and Mjolnir. B is one of the few shinobi around who is also fast enough to deal with the God Trees. Seeing as B considers Naruto a close friend, he would have extra motivation to get the job done and slice and shock the enemy to bits.
7 Kurotsuchi Can Flex Her Tsuchikage Powers
The Fourth Tsuchikage Is An Unpredictable Strategist
Kurotsuchi took over as the Fourth Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, succeeding her grandfather, Ōnoki. She was a pivotal member of Naruto's alliance in the Fourth Great Ninja War. Kurotsuchi is a master of many nature techniques, including manipulating rock formations, water blasts and lava blasts.
She is an unpredictable yet brilliant kenjutsu (sword-master) and taijutsu (hand-to-hand combat) shinobi. Kurotsuchi even has genjutsu tricks she can use to lull the God Trees into fake trees. She may not have a Sharingan, but she is as close to Sasuke as the alliance has right now.
6 Chōjūrō Is Always Itching For a Fight
The Sixth Mizukage Loved Swordplay More Than Diplomacy
Chōjūrō is the Sixth Mizukage and one of the last generation of Kirigakure's Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. He impressed in the past against Kaguya's Zetsu and the Ōtsutsuki aliens that invaded in the Boruto era. His kenjutsu, chakra blades and ability to blend Water Release with his sword, Hiramekarei, are unparalleled.
Chōjūrō has gone toe-to-toe with Sasuke in years gone by. Naruto trusts him a lot, and as a Kage himself, Chōjūrō is always up for leaving office and coming into the field. These God Trees are the perfect reason for him to show up with his sword and assert his dominance.
5 Gaara Considers Konoha a Second Home
The Fifth Kazekage Is a Weapon of Mass Destruction
Gaara was once a Konoha enemy, but he quickly became one of Naruto's most powerful best friends. As the Fifth Kazekage of Sunagakure, he harnessed the power of the One Tail Beast, Shukaku. He is a master of the Sand Release, wind bullets and altering magnetic fields.
Gaara could easily ground and shoot up these God Trees. It would be feasible, as he did this to Ōtsutsuki agents. He may not have Shukaku in him anymore, but he still has residual chakra that would make him a one-man army. Gaara would die for Naruto and Konoha, shaping him as the ideal person to hunt the God Trees and protect all other regions.
4 Darui Delivers Electric Fights
The Fifth Raikage Is An Explosive Assassin
Darui succeeded A in Kumogakure. He is definitely one of the more intimidating Kages, because he dealt in assassinations and war more than politics. He pushed Sasuke to the brink with his blade, and his knack for harnessing wind, water, lightning and storms.
Thanks to his killer instinct, Darui can slow down and tear enemies apart in the blink of an eye. Seeing as he held his own against previous Ōtsutsuki operatives, he would be a good bet against the God Trees. He is another warrior Naruto endorsed and who would do well in this scenario due to his aggression.
3 The Tailed Beasts Can Avenge Naruto
The Bijuu Are Nuclear Bombs
The Tailed Beasts will always love Naruto for how he protected them from Kaguya and eventually freed them. While B kept his Bijuu and Kurama died, these other Bijuu are still in safe houses, ready to defend the planet if need be. Some could even find themselves in old vessels, like Gaara.
On their own, they have tremendous firepower via their energy balls and are basically walking, talking nuclear bombs. Without a Jinchūriki to host them, their power is even more raw and undiluted. Having them unite and fight the God Trees would be intriguing as the latter comes from the Ten Tails. The Bijuu would be apt equalizers, but with devastating ramifications and collateral damage.
2 Ōtsutsuki Toneri Can Achieve His Higher Calling
The Ōtsutsuki Black Sheep Has The Necessary Firepower
In The Last: Naruto the Movie, Toneri was revealed to be the last descendant of Hamura (the brother of the Sage of the Six Paths), Toneri unlocked the Tenseigan eye that could drop the moon on the Earth. He has puppets who can use chakra bombs, he can teleport around the Earth, and he has power that can rival Tailed Beasts.
Toneri pushed Naruto to the limit, forcing the would-be Hokage and Kurama to go into super-Sage Mode. Luckily, Toneri became an ally at the end of the fight. The heroes would have to unfreeze him on the moon and undo Urashiki's spell, though. But should it get done done, Toneri is as good as having Naruto and Kurama on the front lines and gives him a new purpose: to defend Earth.
1 Kaguya Can Make a Comeback
The Rabbit Princess Is A Godlike Equalizer
Naruto and Sasuke sealed Kaguya away at the end of the Naruto series. It's worth noting that she does have an affinity for humanity. She married a hunan in Tenji, after all. If the Konoha-nin find a way of unsealing her, she could help stave off the new threat. That is, once she believes in hope and optimism again.
Either way, Kaguya isn't a fan of her own Ōtsutsuki tribe. If she sees these God Trees as abominations in their dynasty's evolution, Kaguya can use all her debilitating nature techniques, bone protrusions, teleportation, and the ability to take them to a secret magma dimension to obliterate them. This would prove that the Boruto series can redeem ex-villains the way the Naruto era did.
