Chainsaw Man Carves Out a New Legacy in Tennessee With Killer Wood Sculpture

A real-life wooden sculpture of Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man has been recently found in the state of Tennessee.

The social media X (formerly Twitter) account of @/Chainsawpedia uploaded a photo of the anime-inspired wooden sculpture with the caption, "Chainsaw Man Wood Carving in Gatlinburg, Tennessee." Although the post doesn't go into detail as to why this wooden sculpture of Chainsaw Man was made and where exactly it resides, it appears to be part of an art collection for Dahl's Chainsaw Art Gallery. On the official website's front page, the same wooden sculpture of Chainsaw Man can be found alongside other creations made out of lumber.

"This picture marks the beginning of the era where anime is now as popular here as it is in Japan," an X user said. "If I were a millionaire, I'd pay big bucks to own this," another commenter stated. While other comments equally praised the Chainsaw Man wood carving, they also hilariously noted the giant Museum of Pepper Shakers seen in the background. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sculptures in the back got some acknowledgment as well.

"Dahl's Chainsaw Art Gallery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a place where you and your family will return time and time again," the official website reads. "See our masterfully skilled chainsaw artists at work with thick logs and wood, as they are sculpted and transformed into beautiful chainsaw art. Dalhwood Galleries is a new Gatlinburg custom chainsaw art gallery established by the famous South Dakota chainsaw artists, Jarrett and Jordan Dahl. Jarrett and Jordan Dahl are award-winning, internationally recognized chainsaw artists who have three galleries in South Dakota to showcase and sell their chainsaw art."

Unfortunately, there are no specific details regarding the creation of the wooden sculpture of Chainsaw Man. However, anime fans living in the Tennessee area can see it in person from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CDT) during the work week, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the weekends. More information is available at the Dahl's Chainsaw Art Gallery website.

Chainsaw Man Remains a Major Anime & Manga Franchise With Upcoming Releases

Although there's been no official announcement for a Chainsaw Man Season 2, the series is getting a theatrical movie based on the "Reze Arc," also known as the "Bomb Girl" arc. The manga is also ongoing, with things continuing to heat up in Chainsaw Man Chapter 160. Chainsaw Man is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll and Hulu. Viz Media handles the English distribution of the manga.
