Aniplex of America and Crunchyroll have now confirmed the release date for the upcoming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc, revealing that Season 4 will stream as a simulcast starting Sunday, May 12, 2024.
Via a press release, Crunchyroll revealed that Demon Slayer Season 4 will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll in North America, South America and Europe from May 12 as part of its previously announced Spring 2024 anime lineup. Dubs in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu will be produced and released in the future.
Demon Slayer Season 4 Is One of the Most Anticipated Spring 2024 Anime Releases
Demon Slayer is currently set to be the final debut of the Spring 2024 season, which has already kicked off with multiple popular debuts and sequels, including That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 and Yuru Camp Season 3 -- both of which were among the most anticipated anime of the spring, according to Japanese fans. Other major titles include The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3, Mission: Yozakura Family, Mushoku Tensei and Sound! Euphonium. All of these have now kicked off on Crunchyroll except Yozakura, which streams on Disney+.
Despite its debut being over a month away, Demon Slayer fans haven't had too much of a gap given the worldwide screening of To the Hashira Training. The compilation film was the #1 title in the U.S. for any movie making its debut that week. Fans attending the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc movie theater release also caught a sneak peek of Season 4 with an official advanced screening of Episode 1.
Ufotable will animate Demon Slayer Season 4 - Hashira Training Arc and is also credited for the script. Haruo Sozotaki directs, Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina are responsible for the music, and Akira Matsushima is the chief animation director/character designer. Crunchyroll and Aniplex of America provide the following synopsis: "To the Hashira Training... The members of the Demon Slayer Corps and their highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira. In preparation for the forthcoming final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, the Hashira Training commences. While each carry faith and determination within their hearts, Tanjiro and the Hashira enter a new story." All previous seasons of the Demon Slayer anime are currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, along with Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train.
