Deluxe Hotel Offers Summer-Long Jujutsu Kaisen Concept Rooms

The luxury Sunshine City Prince Hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo has revealed special Jujutsu Kaisen-themed suites available this summer.

Each of the two suites features different themes, these based on the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Arc" and "Shibuya Incident Arc" storylines (the latter in the manga referred to as the "Gojo's Past Arc"). Mock-up images of the rooms have already been revealed, previewing the special Jujutsu Kaisen wall art from each arc, themed bedding, and life-size character renderings displayed on the walls opposite the beds.

As seen above, the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Arc"-themed room will feature the characters Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, Shoko Iera, Yu Haibara and Kento Nanami in their teenage years, while the "Shibuya Incident"-themed room will showcase Satoru Gojo and Kento Nanami as adults, alongside their trainees Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki.

The rooms will be available to book from June 1, 2024-Aug. 31, 2024, with reservation requests opening starting from April 26, 2024, via the Sunshine City Prince Hotel official website. Although the price per night of each room has not yet been announced, similarly themed rooms at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel typically run from 21,000 yen to 32,00 yen (roughly US$138.76 to $211.44).

The Sunshine City Prince Hotel Is Known for Its Anime-Themed Collaborations

The Sunshine City Prince Hotel, part of the larger Prince Hotel & Resorts luxury hotel chain owned by the Seibu Group, is known for hosting various themed collaborations throughout the year. In English, the hotel’s Ikebukuro, Tokyo location description reads, "Ikebukuro, a sacred place for subcultures" has been born with many subculture bases such as anime, manga, and games. Please enjoy a special time when you can spend time surrounded by your favorite things that can only be experienced here."

The hotel is currently hosting a collaboration through April 14, 2024, with the Fate/Grand Order anime series, which features four different themed hotel rooms with take-home posters and acrylic panels, custom hotel key cards and customized themed beverages, as well as access to a Fate/Grand Order concept lounge with a gift shop. The hotel is additionally planning an upcoming collaboration from April 5, 2024-May 31, 2024, with the Dosukoi Sushi Zumou (Sushi Sumo) anime series, which will feature sumo-themed rooms and various other amenities.

Given Jujutsu Kaisen creator Gege Akutami’s announcement that he expects to end the series before the year is up, room reservations for this collaboration are expected to be booked out quickly. In the meantime, the manga is ongoing and licensed for North American readers by Viz Media. Seasons 1 and 2 of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime adaptation are both currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, Hulu and Prime Video. A direct sequel anime adapting the manga's "Culling Game" arc has officially been announced, although a release window has yet to be confirmed.
