Demon Slayer Releases Limited-Edition Tanjiro & Nezuko Smartwatches for Preorder

Watch brand GARRACK has unveiled its unique Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba smartwatch, which is specifically designed to help fans with their own Hashira training. The watches are available in two variants, themed after Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado, which emphasize training and sleep management, respectively.

Tanjiro's watch model, designed to assist in training, features a "Total Concentration" breathing exercise timer, making it a perfect companion for those looking to enhance their physical health. The watch features 100 different exercises to reflect the rigorous Hashira training that slayers embark on, as well as step counting, heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking. Nezuko’s version focuses on health management, especially sleep quality and patterns, reflecting her character's unique traits in the series. The smartwatch incorporates Nishijin weaving for its straps -- a renowned textile craft from Kyoto, emphasizing the rich cultural heritage behind its design. The straps on Tanjiro’s variant encompass the black tsuba he inherits from Anjuro Rengoku set on forest green leather, while the other half reflects the checkered haori he dons. Nezuko’s strap designs take queues from the hemp leaf pattern of her salmon kimono on one half, the other an interpretation of her accompanying obi. Each watch's brass buckle varies, with Tanjiro’s version featuring one shaped like a sword and Nezuko’s a bamboo tube.

Aside from the features to keep wearers on track to achieve their fitness goals, the watches have all the functionality one would expect. They are pairable with both Android and iOS devices and display app notifications and weather updates, presented by different characters from the series depending on the model. Both come equipped with a battery that boasts a 14-day life and features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display.

The watches are presented in a finely crafted paulownia wood box, complete with a serial number plate. Each timepiece is priced at 35,200 yen (US$227), with pre-sales set to start on April 24, 2024, with an expected release date of May 13. In the meantime, customers in Japan can check them out in person at the Ontime Shibuya Loft store and Osaka Takashimaya.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 4 (Hashira Training Arc) debuts on Crunchyroll on May 12, 2024. The manga is released in North America by VIZ Media.
