An Unconventional, Impostor Family: The Forger Family
Loid Forger, also known as Twilight, is a spy working for WISE. He is also Yor Forger's husband and Anya Forger's father. Loid Forger has excellent espionage abilities, including combat skills and inductive and deductive reasoning skills. He is known as the "Master of Disguises," which is why he has the codename Twilight. Yet, when it comes to parenting Anya, Loid has trouble understanding her. Regarding spy duties, Loid is stoic and indifferent but has a soft and caring side to his fake family.
There is little information about Loid Forger's past except that he lost his mother and friends during the war, and his father's whereabouts are unknown. He enlisted in the army and was then recruited by the Westailian Intelligence Agency to become a spy.
Yor Forger is a trained assassin known as Thorn Princess. She also holds a day job as an employee at Berlint City Hall. She is loving and caring toward Loid Forger and Anya Forger despite not knowing the circumstances of their fake marriage. She is not very good at cooking and often poisons her family with her homemade meals. Yor became an assassin for the secret assassin organization Garden to support her brother, Yuri Briar, after losing their parents. She is highly skilled and powerful in combat, using needle-like stilettos to murder her targets.
Anya Forger is the adopted daughter of Loid Forger. She is forced to enroll in Eden Academy to help Loid Forger's mission, Operation Strix. Anya can read minds. She knows about her father and mother's double life but keeps it a secret for fear of them possibly abandoning her. Anya does her best to help her mother and father with their missions, even befriending Damian Desmond to gather intel about Operation Strix. Anya is naive about the world, but she is courageous and quick-witted. She does not like studying and is obsessed with the TV show Spy Wars.
Bond Forger is the Forger family's pet. Bond is a Pyrenean mountain dog, and Anya named him after her favorite character in Spy Wars, Bondman. Bond was originally a test subject in Project Apple and was used in a terrorist bomb attack. Anya saves Bond, and he becomes her pet. Bond is a smart dog and can see the future. He often uses future-reading skills to help his family members in their missions and everyday life. Bond is loving and loyal to Anya and the Forger family. He gets jealous of other things that catch Anya's attention.

Students of Eden Academy
Damian Desmond is Anya Forger's classmate and Donovan Desmond's youngest son. Damian is a prideful child who desires his father's acknowledgment and love; thus, he does his best academically. In the beginning, Damian is rude and obnoxious toward Anya, but he eventually grows fond of her, developing a crush on her.
Becky Blackbell is Anya Forger's best friend. Her father is the CEO of Blackbell Heavy Industries, a military manufacturer. Anya and Becky become friends after Anya defends her from an altercation with Damian. Becky cares deeply about Anya and is obsessed with romance shows and fashion. She has a crush on Anya's father, Loid Forger, and so she tries to get his attention but is unsuccessful.
Emile Elman is best friends with Damian Desmond and Ewen Egeburg. Emile is carefree and enjoys sweets.
Ewen Egeburg is best friends with Damian Desmond and Emile Elman. Ewen wants to be a cosmonaut when he grows up. He's very observant and is highly intelligent.
Faculty of Eden Academy
Henry Henderson is a history teacher and the housemaster of Cecil Hall at Eden Academy. He held a high position in the institution but got demoted for attacking housemaster Murdoch Swan after Swan ridiculed the Forger family. He is the homeroom teacher for Anya and her friends. Henry is obsessed with "elegance" and expects his students to exemplify elegance in school and everyday life. He cares deeply about his students' education and well-being and is willing to sacrifice himself to protect his students.
Murdoch Swan is an economics teacher and the housemaster of Cline Hall at Eden Academy. He is the son of the former headmaster of Eden Academy and only got hired through nepotism. He is rude and arrogant and treats the Forger family with disrespect during the family interview.
The Affluent Desmond Family & Other Supporting Characters
The Desmond Family
Donovan Desmond is the President of the National Unity and the former Prime Minister of Ostania. He is the husband of Melinda Desmond and the father of Demetrius and Damian. Donovan is the main target in Loid Forger's mission, Operation Strix. He rarely makes public appearances, and his only public appearance was when he attended the Eden Academy's Imperial Scholars for his son, Demetrius.
Melinda Desmond is the wife of Donovan Desmond and the mother of Demetrius and Damian. She befriends Yor Forger and invites her to join her social group, The Lady Patriot Society, a group of mothers from affluent families living in Berlint. She is distant from her children and does not communicate with them.
Demetrius Desmond is the son of Donovan and Melinda Desmond and the older brother of Damian Desmond. He is an overachiever and is part of the Imperial Scholars group at Eden Academy. He rarely communicates with his parents and brother, Damian.
Other Supporting Characters
Franky Franklin is Loid Forger's informant and close friend. He is also Anya and Bond Forger's designated babysitter. He is a hopeless romantic and comic relief.
Camilla is one of Yor Forger's coworkers at the Berlint City Hall. In the beginning, Camilla would bully Yor, but she slowly warms up to her after she starts teaching Yor how to cook. She is also the girlfriend of Dominic.
Dominic is Camilla's boyfriend and Yuri's coworker in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He always gives Yuri intel about Yor.
Martha Marriott is the butler of the Blackwell family and is the caretaker of Becky Blackwell. She cares deeply for Becky and corrects Becky for bad behavior. She is well acquainted with Henry Henderson.
Key Organizations in Spy x Family
WISE
Sylvia Sherwood is Loid Forger/ Twilight's handler and is the commanding officer of the Ostanian WISE agency. She is the one who assigns Loid's spy missions and oversees Operation Strix. Her nickname is "Fullmetal Lady" because of her harsh treatment of her spy recruits. She tends to overwork them to exhaustion. She is strong, reliable and competent in her job.
Fiona Frost, also known as Nightfall, is a WISE spy. She is a competent spy as she is athletic and highly cunning. She was trained under Twilight, who taught her to hide all emotions, including her deep feelings for him. Fiona sees Yor as a rival for Loid's affections and wishes to replace Yor as his wife during Operation Strix.
State Security Service
Yuri Briar is Yor Forger's younger brother and an official in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, his job at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a front for his actual job as the second lieutenant of the State Security Service. He is assigned to track down the spy Twilight and other threatening groups. Yuri is excellent at his job, in which he can use violent tactics to obtain information from informants and criminals, but he still shows empathy and compassion toward others. He is greatly attached to his sister, Yor, and harbors jealousy toward Loid and Anya.
Garden
Shopkeeper is the leader of the assassin organization, Garden. He is the one who manages Yor and assigns her any targets, providing photos and any additional information about them. Yor would often seek the Shopkeeper for advice on important life decisions. The Shopkeeper has rugged, long white hair. He takes care of his garden with a pair of shears, which is also used as a weapon.
Matthew McMahon is an affiliate of the Garden and works as the Director of Policy in Berlint City Hall. He supports Yor on her missions and keeps an eye on her at Berlint City Hall.
